Will is the co-founder and CEO of Phytoform Labs, a UK startup using AI and genome editing to improve crops to make agriculture more sustainable and nutritious. Will is a crop scientist by training fascinated by the underlying molecular mechanisms that drive plant development. A passion for applied research led to a PhD studying potato dormancy at Imperial College before co-founding Phytoform Labs.

Nicolas is a co-founder and CTO at a biotechnology start-up Phytoform Labs. Nicolas completed his PhD studies at Imperial College London, where his research was focused on developmental biology, studying root morphogenesis under environmental stresses. Being synthetic biology enthusiast, Nicolas participated in the iGEM competition twice with award winning teams. Originally from Slovakia, Nicolas lives in London, UK.
